What You'll Learn

Summer Scholars will visit sites of the Hopewell and Fort Ancient cultures in Ohio, the Newark Earthworks, Fort Ancient, the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, and Serpent Mound. Summer Scholars will thereby gain an appreciation for the complexity of an ancient American Indian culture and gain expertise in the use and interpretation of historic sites.
